youngARTS alumni hold leadership positions in the arts across the nation. Many of our alumni are familiar names. Many more are familiar faces. They are playing music, dancing, singing, writing, making films, taking photographs. They are, in short, making valuable contributions to our culture.

NFAA is committed to offering continued support to our alumni as they advance in their careers. We develop professional opportunities for our alumni, including internships, grants, and awards.
Our internship opportunities and grants are one of the ways we honor our alumni. In addition, we established the NFAA Alumni Award in 2006, in honor of our 25th anniversary. We were pleased to present Vanessa Williams with the first-ever NFAA Alumni Award for her contributions and professional success.
Our Alumni Astral Grants provide financial assistance to alumni four and five years after their year as youngARTS Winners.
We encourage all of our alumni to send news and to get involved. Let us know what’s going on with you. Stay involved by volunteering to help us with youngARTS Week, perform at youngARTS events, and participate in other activities.
