"The NFAA ARTS Week Educators Conference was one of the best professional teachers conferences I have been to during my teaching career. "

EDUCATORS CONFERENCE
The YoungArts Educators Conference has been a great way to keep up-to-date on college admissions, best practices, as well as networking with peers. Since 2004, hundreds of Educators like you have joined us during YoungArts week in Miami to experience our exciting conference. We have held workshops, round-table discussions and Q&A’s for educators and scholars alike, always striving to make your conference experience better and more informative.

This year, a lot of exciting things are happening at YoungArts. We have recently named Christina DePaul as our new President and CEO. An accomplished and award-winning visual artist, Ms. DePaul brings with her great ideas and a fresh new outlook for our organization. With all the great changes happening at YoungArts, we have decided to take a “break” with the Educators Conference in order to re-conceptualize and improve it to an even better event.

Although the conference itself will not be happening during this coming YoungArts Week, rest assured that the YoungArts Programs team will be working behind the scenes all year in order to bring you a great conference in 2011.

Since Ms. DePaul’s tenure at YoungArts, a lot of great changes have happened. One of her main goals is to herald a brand new innovative educator conference. Recently, an educator Think Tank was held during the YoungArts Gold and Silver event in New York City, in order to help shape a new and improved conference. Experts in all fields of education were invited for a thorough discussion on not only how to present a great conference, but also to get ideas and visions on how to make it more rewarding for the participants. They looked at all aspects of the conference, from presentations and workshops to receiving credits towards your Masters or Professional Development education. A follow-up is scheduled for next spring.
