 QUESTIONS
Why do we have a June 1st early deadline?
- Students save money on their registration fees!
Online registration fees are $25 per category thru June 1st ($30 for paper registrations).
Online registration fees are $35 per category from June 2nd to Oct 1st ($40 for paper registrations).
- Students who qualify for our fee waiver program may get the entire fee for one category waived before June 1st. After June 1st a fee reduction is available reducing the fee for one category to $10.
- Students should also register early to be included in the Scholarship List Service (SLS) as soon as possible. The colleges that participate in SLS want to get information about our participants that summer between their junior and senior year in high school. This is when most colleges do their heaviest recruiting.
How can your students qualify for waived or reduced fees?
- Family Tax Information (Go here for specific requirements) OR
- Letter on school letterhead from a teacher, counselor, or administrator.
- (Please note that the students must register before June 1st to get the fee waiver for one category. After June 1st the fee is reduced to $10 for one category.)
How can I register groups of students online?
Please use the youngARTS Xpress method in the registration application. Call our office if you have any questions 800-970-ARTS (2787).
How can I order a free informational DVD about youngARTS?
Please email us at Carla@nfaa.org to request our 15 minute informational DVD explaining the youngARTS program. Put “youngARTS DVD” in the subject line and all of your mailing and contact information in the body of your email or call us at 800-970-ARTS (2787).
