YoungArts Comes To Los Angeles!

YoungArts hosted a performance at Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles, on November 3. National YoungArts Alumni took the stage and celebrated excellence in the arts, followed by a post-performance reception at Left Coast Wine Bar.

The U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts exhibited their Artworks and Readings on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

In the Studio Alumni Event

YoungArts invited all YoungArts Alumni to view the In the Studio performance at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, featuring the 2011 YoungArts Gold + Silver Winners, followed by a Reception and Exhibition on Thursday, April 14, 2011.

The YoungArts Alumni Association held a networking social event with fellow YoungArts Alumni that are currently attending or have attended Juilliard on Thursday, October 21, 2010
The new YoungArts Alumni Association celebrated YoungArts alumni that are currently attending or have attended Juilliard. They got a chance to network and socialize with fellow YoungArts alumni and learned about what the Alumni Association has to offer including grants, performance opportunities, mentoring programs and opportunities to serve as a Resident Advisor during YoungArts Week. YoungArts Alumni Artist Talk

On Wednesday, October 20, 2010, YoungArts invited YoungArts and U.S. Presidential Scholar Alumni to a Private Viewing and Artist Talk with Kevin Berlin, 1983 YoungArts Winner in Visual Arts and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. The Event was held at the Mark Miller Gallery in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY (92 Orchard Street, between Delancey and Broome).

Internationally renowned artist Kevin Berlin showcased his celebrated show Double Happiness. This show is making its U.S. debut and is building up to be one of the most talked about art openings of the year. Straight from China, Double Happiness explores the search for happiness in the dynamic east-meets-west city of Shanghai. Through compelling large-scale oil paintings, Berlin unveils his discoveries about the search for happiness he found in Shanghai in the stories and objects encountered.
