On Wednesday, November 10, a group of visual art and dance students from South Dade Senior High School were invited to participate in an interdisciplinary workshop with alumni Daniel Arsham and choreographer Jonah Bokaer, the collaborative creators of Replica.

On Thursday, January 13, 2011, national YoungArts finalists in writing read from their work at the Margulies Collection at the WAREhOUSE. These young artists have been selected by an expert artistic panel as the best in the nation from more than 5,000 applications.

Tonight’s performance is an original collaboration by YoungArts Alumni. In five days, they created, choreographed, filmed, photographed, composed and/or arranged music for this performance.

Tonight enjoy performances by top student artists in dance and cinema, with selections of classical, contemporary, and world dance performances alongside creative and dynamic short films and documentaries.

Tonight at 8pm EST enjoy performances by top student artists in voice and jazz, with selections in pop, jazz and classical voice alongside a range of delightful jazz pieces from various musical eras.

YoungArts, the core program of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, brings up to 150 of the nation’s most talented young artists to Miami each year for YoungArts Week—an all-expense-paid, weeklong gathering that includes master classes, workshops, readings, and exhibitions and performances that are free and open to the public.
