YoungArts alumni are making waves in the Miami arts community. In this video, watch 2008 Visual Arts Alumna Cathryn Garcia Menocal interview 2005 Dance winner Yara Travieso and 2003 Visual Arts winner and Presidential Scholar in the arts Chat Travieso. Yara and Chat, along with alumni Lucas Leyva, 2005 Winner in Writing and Andrew Hevia, 2003 Winner in Writing are the founders of the successful Borscht Film Festival, a Miami-centric festival that strives to promote filmmakers from Miami, who have a story to tell about their relationships to the city.
