Miami, we know how you like to roll.
Join us for an interactive art gallery opening on YoungArts Awareness Day with Miami-native artist and YoungArts alumnus Daniel Arsham. This installation, curated by new PAMM director Franklin Sirmans - features nearly 2,000 (!) of Arsham’s trademark artifacts cast in chalk, which visitors can use to draw on the gallery walls. Pretty cool, huh? (Not to mention you’ll get some badass artsy Instagrams to make all your friends jealous.)
The opening reception is free and open to the public (with RSVP), BUT you can/should kick the night up a notch by attending the pre-reception Salon, an exclusive conversation between Arsham and Franklin Sirmans, who will be Skyping in from LA. This is the first in our new season of YoungArts Salons, sponsored by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
6:30PM | Pre-Salon Cocktails (Salon ticket required)
