On February 8, 2017 UCLA will host the next iteration of the YoungArts Salon Series
. Entitled “Salon: Rules of the Game,” the candid artist conversation will be moderated by CAP UCLA Executive and Artistic Director Kristy Edmunds and feature artist Daniel Arsham (1999 YoungArts Winner in Visual Arts) and renowned choreographer Jonah Bokaer. The long-time collaborators will discuss their ongoing partnership and challenging perceived boundaries of performance art, visual arts, music and design. The Salon serves as a prelude to their long-awaited L.A. debut of “Rules of the Game,” a multidisciplinary work for eight dancers, that will premiere on February 10, 2017 at Royce Hall. “Rules of the Game” is Arsham and Bokaer’s largest collaboration to date and also their first partnership with Pharrell Williams.
