YoungArts has taken over UCLA with 69 of this year’s winners. They have been experiencing master classes with Transparent producer Joan Scheckel, acclaimed composer and violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain, Los Angeles Philharmonic violinist Vijay Gupta, visual artist Edward Arceneaux, and more.
 
Highlights so far included the Jazz Performance and Writers’ Reading, directed by the distinguished Dr. Ron McCurdy and spoken word artist Joan Morgan. 
 
Join us tonight at 8 PM for our Classical Music Performance directed by celebrated cellist Jeffrey Ziegler at UCLA Schoenberg Hall.
 
On Saturday, the Dance, Theater and Voice Performance, directed by award-winning dancer and choreographer John Heginbotham, will start at 8 PM at UCLA Royce Hall, and on Sunday, April 2 at 2 PM meet us at Building Bridges Art Exchange in Santa Monica for the 2017 YoungArts Los Angeles Visual Arts, Design and Photography Exhibition curated by John Tain, Assistant Curator, Modern & Contemporary Collections, Getty Research Institute.
