The next stop for YoungArts is New York City, where 74 of the 2017 Winners will learn from master teachers and luminaries across artistic disciplines, inspire their peers, and share their art and vision with the public.
The intensive week includes interdisciplinary workshops, seminars and master classes with accomplished leaders in their fields such as writer Sir Salman Rushdie, dancer and choreographer Nora Chipaumire, artists Mickalene Thomas, Derrick Adams and José Parlá as well as designers Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, and Shane Gabier and Christopher peters of Creatures of the Wind.

The Visual Arts, Photography and Design Exhibition will be held at Sotheby’s on Friday, April 28 from 8-10 pm. On Saturday, April 29 from 8-10 pm, the Voice, Dance, Theater and Jazz Performance will take place at Baryshnikov Art Center, and on Sunday, April 30 from 2-4 pm, the 2017 YoungArts Winners in Classical Music and Writing will take the stage at the same venue for the Classical Music Performance and Writer’s Reading
