Cinematic Arts Requirements
You are required to submit one completed short film less than 10 minutes in length. If your short film is less than 10 minutes, you may fill the balance of the 10 minutes with other shorts, excerpts or works in progress.
Your work should demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate your ideas using imagination and a willingness to take creative risks. You should submit work that best exemplifies the extent and quality of your accomplishments.
You are encouraged to present work which illustrates your knowledge of film and video production and appreciation for moving images, with an emphasis on expressing your artistic point of view.
Your work will be judged on its merit only through a blind adjudication process, and therefore your name should not appear on your work. Please do not include your name in the credits.
Please complete the Cinematic Arts Submission Form when you submit your film. This is where you will have the opportunity to identify your exact contribution to your work. On the Cinematic Arts Submission Form, please specify your role(s) for this film -- that is, whether you wrote, directed, co-directed, edited, photographed, etc. your film.
