YoungArts Backyard Ball

Join us for this magical evening that kicks off the 2015 social season! The YoungArts Backyard Ball on Saturday, January 10th, co-chaired by Tracey and Bruce Berkowitz and Elizabeth and Facundo Bacardi, benefits programming for the National YoungArts Foundation. The culmination of National YoungArts Week, our signature national program celebrating the nation’s most talented emerging artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts, the gala welcomes more than 700 notable attendees in Miami to honor the achievements of the 2015 YoungArts Finalists.

During the evening, we will also recognize three prominent awardees for their invaluable commitment to the arts: renowned visual artist Jeff KoonsGrammy-nominated recording artist, YoungArts Master Teacher and 1999 YoungArts Winner in Theater, Josh Groban; and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and 2003 YoungArts Winner and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, Chris Young.

The evening will be emceed by YoungArts Alumna and Master Teacher, actress Zuzanna Szadkowksi (1997 Winner in Theater and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts) and will include a post-dinner performance directed by renowned Tony Award-winner, dancer, choreographer and YoungArts Artistic Advisor, Bill T. Jones. The performance will feature YoungArts Alumni in music, voice, theater and dance from around the nation.
