Creating life-changing experiences for exceptionally-talented young artists is the work of YoungArts, the core program of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts. We know that artists are our future and we invest in them by our support and belief that their contributions to society are important. Over the past 29 years, YoungArts has given more than $6.4 million in awards and fostered more than $80 million in scholarships.
YoungArts realizes that the success of young artists is due, in great measure, to the support and nurturing they receive from their parents. If your child is 17 or 18 years old please encourage them to apply to our program and they can have access to the following:
- Exclusive Presidential Scholars in the Arts nominations
- $500,000 in total awards
- All-expense-paid trip to Miami for YoungArts Week
- Master classes with world-renowned artists
- $3 million in scholarship opportunities
- $10,000 YoungArts Gold Awards, $5,000 YoungArts Silver Awards
- Lifetime of alumni networking, including performance and career advancement opportunities
The application is opens from March 15 – October 15, and is completed on-line at www.youngarts.org.
