What Panelists Look For

“Artists who aren’t just good mimics, but who are gutsy enough to pursue their own vibrant and original voices.”

“The panel is looking for an authentic voice, a fresh perspective and a deft sense of craft. We are looking for simplicity as well as bravura.”

Please note that the application fee is non-refundable even in the case of injury. You also must be free of injury to participate in YoungArts Week if you are chosen as a Finalist.
