YoungArts Week Finalists
This year’s 152 YoungArts Finalists represent the top 3% of more than 5,000 applicants that were selected in a blind adjudication process from a pool representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as all U.S. territories. YoungArts Finalists are invited to attend YoungArts Week in Miami during the week of January 9-14, 2012, which includes master classes taught by world-renowned artists; performances and exhibitions; and further adjudication leading to the possibility to become a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and visit the White House. All YoungArts Finalists attending YoungArts Week will receive a monetary award of at least $1,000, and will be further adjudicated to be eligible to win awards up to $10,000.
