Every year I am amazed by the incredibly talented high school students that participate in YoungArts Week, which took place last month in Miami. 170 talented YoungArts finalists participated in talks and master classes with world renowned artists, including Rosie Perez, Zaha Hadid, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Debbie Allen, Shelly Berg and James Rosenquist, to name a few. Each night audiences were wowed during performances and film screenings at the New World Center, as well as a visual arts, photography and design exhibition, jazz combo and writers' readings on our new YoungArts Campus. Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you everyone for helping support the next generation of artists. We hope to see you all at an upcoming program in your city!
If you didn't get to experience YoungArts Week for yourself, you could still enjoy all of the performances, which are available on our YouTube channel -click here
